Have a look at  www.gva.ch (6 min. by train or 20 min. by bus no. 10 from the main-station “Cornavin”). The International Airport of Geneva is offering all arriving passengers a free “Tout Genève” ticket, which is valid for 80 minutes. The ticket is available from the automatic ticket machine located in the baggage reclaim area and allows you to use public transport in the city of Geneva on the day of your arrival only, together with your boarding pass.

 Single & double rooms: sheets, duvet, towels, shampoo and soap provided. Dormitories: sheets, duvet and towels provided. Big towels to rent at reception.

We do not serve breakfast. There is a fully equipped kitchen on each floor. A small choice of food/beverages can be found at reception. All our guests can enjoy a special offer at Pipo’s Café (2 minutes away from the hostel).

You may cancel your reservation  at www.cityhostel.ch up to 48 hours before the day of arrival. Please note that we do not refund you for any prepayment made on your reservation.

Rooms are available from 2 pm on your arrival day. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage in our day-lockers (reception is open from 7:30am to midday and from 1 pm to midnight).

Check-out time is 10 am. You can leave your luggage in our day-lockers until 10 pm the day of departure.

A children’s playground with games, toys and some films is available at the hostel.

A free map of Geneva is available at reception. Ask for the “quick info-map” made especially for our guests by our reception-staff.

We propose you a special chocolate offer (1 kilo of the best Swiss Chocolate divided in 10 bars for only Sfr. 15.-). See our chocolate selection at reception.

We have free day-lockers. Ask for a padlock at reception (10CHF or 10EUR deposit) or use your own.

 Dormitories are reserved only for backpackers. Maximum stay in dormitories is 8 nights.

Find a huge selection of non-alcoholic drinks, beer and wine at reception.

Families are welcome at our hostel. Children under 2 stay for free (baby cribs available). A children’s playground with toys, games and some films is available. Please note that families must reserve their own room.

We do provide fax services at reception for a small charge. 

The hostel has a fully integrated fire alarm system corresponding to the latest security regulations. Additional fire doors are installed on each floor, which close automatically in case of fire.

You can change Euros (we do not take coins) to Swiss francs at reception

Parking places are available in our covered garage (check rates and book at info@cityhostel.ch).

We accept groups of up to 20 guests. For groups bigger than 8 people, please, send us an email indicating the number of guests, type of rooms required and arrival and departure dates.

Bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers.

An iron and ironing board are provided in the laundry room.

Free WIFI access in all the building. There is also a free Internet-room with 2 stations open daily from 7.30 to 11pm.

Latest check-in time is 1.30 am. Please, contact us to let us know if you are arriving later than 10pm.

We do have Coin-laundry facilities (2 washing machines & 2 dryers). Open from 7 am – midnight

We have laundry facilities (3 washing machines & 3 dryers) that you can use for a small charge. Open from 7 am to midnight.

We have different types of lockers: daily lockers for early check-in, lockers in dormitories, food-lockers in the kitchens and very innovative fridge lockers. Keys are available at reception.

Please note that we are a Youth Hotel and not a residence for long-term stays.  

You can receive letters at reception (please, let us know if you need to).

We are an independent hostel. City Hostel Geneva is a member of Swisshostels (www.swisshostels.com), but we do not ask for any membership. Book your stay at any of these hostels directly at reception.

Due to health & security reasons, this is a non-smoking hostel. A penalty of 100CHF can be charged for smoking in the building.

Palexpo is a huge fairground complex next to Geneva Int. Airport. Take the train that goes to the airport from the main station Gare Cornavin (7min.).

We have an enclosed garage for cars. Check rates and book at info@cityhostel.ch. Free garage for bicycles.

Pets are not allowed in our hostel.

Photocopies can be made at reception for a small charge.

Opening-hours 07.30 am – midday & 1 pm – midnight (late arrival possible up to 1.30 am). With your room key, you may enter all the day/night in the hostel.

Please use our secure online system at www.cityhostel.ch . Important: Please note for each reservation made on our secure online system we will charge your credit card  with a Sfr. 6.– prepayment. This prepayment will be applied to your bill upon   arrival. The prepayment is non-refundable in case of a cancellation of your reservation.

We have a relaxation room with TV, internet stations, wireless internet, baby foot, children’s corner…

 In Geneva, like in other Tourist destinations, it is wise to be cautious and aware of your surroundings to avoid theft.

We have a public phone at the hostel. Use your coins or buy an International phone card (excellent rates for international calls) at reception.

Geneva Public Transport System. You will find all the information you need regarding timetables, pricing, etc. at www.tpg.ch. During your stay, all public transport in Geneva is free. Please ask for your Geneva Transport Card at reception.

Enjoy the most beautiful train trips in Switzerland. We sell domestic tickets and special train passes at very low prices.

We have a nice TV room where you can enjoy English version movies every evening. Channels in many languages available during the day.

There is free wifi access in all the building. Ask for the code at reception.
